刚在933听到星光帮的新歌《总在我身旁》。本来不知道是星光帮的新歌，可是他们的声音都有特色。我听的时候突然觉得好像是星光帮唱的。查了一查，果然没错。咳～可惜小美的歌声不会出现在这张专辑里。

21st Birthday

Haha~ always wanted to blog about this...but was too lazy to do it...

2 weeks ago, 20th Aug 2007 marked my 21st year on Earth:P
Had lesson since 9...and managed to meet up with Alicia, Meiyi, Weeleong and Mabel for lunch before I went for my next lesson at 4.

I went to meet up with Xin and Biyun after school for a birthday dinner. I was craving for Sakae Sushi dinner buffet, hence we went for it at Funan Centre. The sushi and food there are really fresh, yummy~

After dinner, xin secretly brought me to a pub, City Space at Swiss Hotel.

My birthday treat of strawberries with chocolate dip and whipped cream~!!! Yum~ my favourite...strawberries and whipped cream. The strawberries will really sweet and nice. And I tried Singapore Sling for the first time.

Went home only at 12am...tiring but memorable day...oh well...but just a few mins after my 21st birthday...I got to pay a super ex cab fee of $16 (only travel from City Hall back to Clementi) *faint~

Albums

I went gramophone @ Ngee Ann City before going for my vocal class @ 8.30pm.
I came across 2 albums that really caught my attention.
Of course, one of them is Corrinne May's latest album, Beautiful Seed.


Another one is an album call "Fall in Love with" by Olivia.


They will playing this album when I was in the shop and I was really attracted by this female voice singing the kind of songs that I will like.

I left the shop without buying any CDs though. Hey~ but guess what~?!
Olivia Ong...someone I never know...she's like Corrinne May...A Singaporean but live in another country. Olivia is only 19 and currently is in Japan pursuing her career in the Japan entertainment circle.

Amazed by this 2 asians' voices.How I wish I sound like them. haha

New instrument?

Just cant wait for my internship to end so that I will have my week of holiday.

Anyway, I really must find a way to learn keyboard. Super duper handicap during band prac just because I dunno music. People will have a hard time explaining to me esp when I ask more. I need layman terms. =P~

I always think that a vocalist should learn an instrument too. It will help alot to be more sensitive to music. I need to know what is bar, chords, beat etc they just sound so foreign to me.Was telling Karen, my vocal instructor, about it and she doesnt mind teaching me a few things about keyboard. However, I have not arrange with her yet and I need to borrow a keyboard so that once I start learning I can practise on it.

Excited about it but hopefully I will not procrastinate. :D
